Marco V Cigars – Mid Year Communication 2011

2011 has been a great year thus far for Marco V Co...

For the first half of 2011, our business was up over 80% vs the same time last year. We plan to continue the momentum through the remainder of 2011. Here are some highlights from the first half of 2011:

HIGHLIGHTS
- Marco V Cigars reached our goal of 100 authorized Premium Tobacconists nationwide
- Marco V Cigars Platinum Blend has been accepted by Cigar Insider for a vertical line review
- Marco V Co. launched its Marco V DOM Café
- Marco V Cigars expanded our team
- Marco V Vintage Cigar Port was picked up to be distributed nationally
- Marco V Cigars core brand 60 gauge V. Gigante continues to grow each quarter
- New blend development is under way for many new great cigars

As humidors are crowded and the industry is saturated with great cigars, 100 reputable premium tobacconists nationally have put Marco V’s on their shelf. This speaks to the value and quality of our cigars. The midwest continues to be where the core group of our retailers are but increasing popularity nationally has helped expand our reach.

Marco V Cigars Co. continues to be dedicated to empowering the B&M cigar shops around the country. We do not sell in catalogs or on the Internet to support small business owners. We also guarantee the quality on every single cigar that we sell. This means we will replace any cigar that the customer has any type of issue with – no questions asked.

Marco V Cigar Dom Café

In 2011 we launched our Marco V “DOM” Espresso Roasted Coffee Beans which are intended to be paired with our Marco V Dom Grand Reserve cigar blend. It is a deliciously satisfying combination in flavors that took us 6 months to develop. This is the second product launch in our Paired Industry Category, the first being our Marco V Vintage Port paired with our Platinum Grand Reserve blend. In 2012, we will pair our Brazilian Grand Reserve blend with a Dominican Rum.

Marco V Vintage Port

We launched our Marco V Vintage 2007 Cigar Port last year and it has been a success. We are on our 4th bottling and Southern Spirits has picked up the brand to be distributed nationally. We are very excited about this partnership and hope that you get a chance to try this wonderful wine. We also have plans to introduce a Cigar Zin that will retail under $10.

Glassware

In 2010, Marco V Co. launched our Glassware product line. The inspiration behind this launch was that we wanted premium vessels to consume our products. As a result, we sought out high quality, unique glassware specifically designed to accompany our Marco V products. Our first launch in this category was our 16th century Port glasses. The next launch will be our thermo espresso glassware. We also have plans to introduce a completely unique, patent-pending, whiskey glass in 2012.

Marco V CAM

Later this year, we will launch a new size and blend combination under the M. Vito x Marco V brand. This will be the same shape as our Fabuloso Cuban Perfecto but it will be about half the size. We will use an incredibly high quality Dominican longfiller blend and binder and will wrap it with a sweet high end Cameroon wrapper.

Communication

We have created different platforms for customers to share, give feedback, and comment on all things Marco V. These platforms include Marco V TV on YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter. We encourage you to communicate and share your thoughts with us!

The Future

Marco V Cigars has established a solid and stable base in its infancy. It is that solid base that will be the launching pad for this exciting new business.
