September was a great month.  We had a lot of opportunities to participate in some great events put on by unique businesses and charities.  These events all serve purposes that are bigger than any cigar or business promotion.  A lot of these events give back to the community we live in.  I would like to briefly discuss each of them.

- September 1st - Minnesota State Fair - 1500 ESPN Hittner Group Marco V Interview
We had a great discussion at the Great Minnesota Get Together with the Hittner Group about the process of building a business.  We discussed all things Marco V.  It was a lot of fun and great to catch up with the Hittner Group.

- September - September 11th - Marco V Cigars Fuegos Event - Downtown Minneapolis - ft. Black Sapphire.
At this event we showcased our highly rated Black Sapphire.  This is the cigar that won best in show at the 2013 IPCPR. The Black Sapphire was also awarded the rare 5 out of 5 stars.  http://cigars.about.com/od/CigarReviews2013/fr/Review-Of-Marco-V-Black-Sapphire-Cigar.htm
This is a truly special cigar that has really put us on the map nationally.

- September 19th - Hazeltine National Golf Club - Marco V Speaking Event -Chaska Rotary Club
This was a speaking engagement where Marco V presented for a half hour to the leaders of Chaska about the foundations of Marco V, how he started the business, and what he has learned along the way.  We met a lot of great people and it was inspiring to hear about all of the great work this Rotary Club is doing.

- September 21st/22nd - Chateau St. Croix Winery Fall Harvest
This is always one of our favorite events every year.  The Chateau makes our Port wine so every year we set up a Pop Up Marco V Lounge and sample our Marco V's paired with the Port.  This is a beautiful property and a great 2 day party.

- September 26th - Vino and Stogies Charity Poker Tournament
The guys from Vino and Stogies have put on this awe inspiring event for the last 4 years.  All of the proceeds go to benefit the LLS Foundation.  Poker, food, drink, cigars, and great people all have a blast for this great cause.

- September 26th - Stogies on Grand in store sampling
SOG was the first retailer to carry Marco V Cigars and they hosted a sampling of our Black Sapphire and GT.  This is such a great shop.
