October ushers in some great Fall weather.   It is definitenly our favorite season and our favorite time of the year to enjoy a cigar outside. It is also a busy month for Marco V Cigars!

When we launced Marco V Cigars in 2009, we started with 3 blends and one size. Since then we built out our Classico collection, launched the Privato Jalapa Reserve Collection (a premium collection from our Nicaraguan factory), and then launched the Mont Blanc Premium House Blends. Our goal was to make the Mont Blancs the best value in the cigar industry. It worked as the Mont Blancs have one of the strongest followings and biggest fanbase.

Château St. Croix has been the sole proprietor for the Marco V Red & Dessert Wine for a long time. Now it's time to pair those wines and more with Marco V Cigars! Join us on June 10th for the 1pm session or the 4pm session and enjoy 4 cigars and 4 wines with educational commentary and insight from the Marco V team and Chateau St. Croix's Winemaker.

One of the reasons why I started Marco V Cigars was because of the role the cigar plays in celebrations. We talk about it here where the origins of Marco V come from Victor Vito lighting up a cigar to commemorate his passage into the United States. They mark a right of passage in many avenues in life and were/are a staple at all of our family gatherings where memories are made. This is Marco V at the core.

One of the great things we love about cigars is that they enhance the experience no matter where you are on earth.  They help bring an element of presence to moment when you light it up.

2022 was another banner year for us at Marco V. 

Here were our key highlights from 2022:

• Our Marco V Privato collection demand doubled vs. 2021
• The Dom Privé received an "Outstanding" rating from Cigar Aficionado
• We focused on unique, customer focused events with our brand partners.
• Our Marco V Red premium wine demand doubled vs. 2021 and received a 91 rating at the California Sommelier Wine Competition.   
• We continued to invest in our core Classico collection by expanding our proprietary aging process and implementing additional quality standards.
• Our business grew for the 13th year in a row despite massive macro and micro economic headwinds

We received a question on how we create the unique "Marco V" flavor that is common within our blends. The answer is in the blending of the unique tobaccos. We take a lot pride in how we create our unique blends. It all starts by using the best grade A tobacco from the best tobacco growing regions in the world.

• Our Marco V Red premium wine went into full production
• We reinvested in our core Classico collection by expanding our proprietary aging process
• Our business grew for the 12th year in a row despite massive macro and micro economic headwinds

It has been a blessing to get back to doing events again. That personal connection and being able to talk about cigars face to face is second to none. This past month we were in Boston, Chicago, Wisconsin, Las Vegas and of course our home state of Minnesota.

It's hard to believe May is already here. Golf courses have opened and people are itiching to get out and enjoy the weather. Because of this we have established mulitple types of places where you can find Marco V's in addition to your local Tobacconist.

After 11 years of business, March 2021 was our biggest month on record.   This is a big feat based on the fact that March is a Winter month.   Our reach across the country and Internationally continues to grow as people continue to find value in our 3 portfolios. 

Now we head into Fall which is our favorite time of the year.   We kick this fall off with an Oktoberfest Celebration at the Chateau St. Croix Winery during two weekends in October.   At this event we will be showcasing all of our cigars and offering a free cigar for every bottle of Marco V Red or Marco V Port that is purchased.

Marco V Co. has brought a completely new category of wine to the industry. The goal was to enhance the cigar smoking experience by providing the perfect high quality wine while indulging in your favorite smoke.
